Что такое Kaizen (Кайдзен) ? Определение

Метод Kaizen (Кайдзен) непрерывных инкрементальных улучшений - японская концепция менеджмента постепенного, непрерывного (инкрементального) изменения (улучшения).

Kaizen (Кайдзен), на самом деле, философия жизни. Он предполагает, что каждый аспект нашей жизни заслуживает постоянного улучшения. Kaizen philosophy (Философия Кайдзен) лежит в основе многих японских концепций менеджмента таких как: Total Quality Control (Всеобщий контроль качества), круги контроля качества, деятельность небольших групп, трудовые отношения.

Ключевые элементы Kaizen (Кайдзен): качество, усилие, вовлечение всех сотрудников, готовность к изменениям и коммуникация.

Японские компании различают между: Инновацией, радикальной формой изменения, и Kaizen (Кайдзен), непрерывной формой изменения. Kaizen (Кайдзен) означает буквально: изменить (kai) чтобы стать лучше (zen).

5 основаных компонентов Кайдзен

1. Взаимодействие (Teamwork).
2. Личная дисциплина (Personal discipline).
3. Улучшенное моральное состояние (Improved morale).
4. Круги качества (Quality circles).
5. Предложения по усовершенствованию (Suggestions for improvement).

Из этого основания возникают 3 ключевых фактора Кайдзен

• Исключение отходов/Elimination of waste (muda) и неэффективности.
• Концепция пяти S Кайдзен/Kaizen five-S framework для хорошего обустройства.
•       1. Seiri - опрятность
•       2. Seiton - порядок
•       3. Seiso - чистота
•       4. Seiketsu - стандартизированная очистка
•       5. Shitsuke - дисциплина
• Стандартизация/Standardization.

Когда следует применять Философию Кайдзен? Хотя трудно дать совет общего характера, ясно, что он уживается наилучшим образом в ситуациях, способствующих постепенному, инкрементальному долгосрочному изменению в коллективных культурах. В индивидуалистических культурах, больше ориентированных на краткосрочный успех, часто успешными являются такие концепции, как Business Process Reengineering (Реорганизация бизнес процессов).

Кайдзен в сравнении с Реорганизацией бизнес процессов

Когда Кайдзен сравнивают с методом BPR становится ясно, что Философия Кайдзен более ориентирована на людей, более проста для внедрения, но требует долгосрочной дисциплины и обеспечивает небольшую динамику изменения. Подход Реорганизация бизнес процессов, с другой стороны, более сложен, ориентирован на технологии, подразумевает радикальное изменение, но требует значительных управленческих навыков в области перемен.
