Link Kaizen 5S and Performance and Productivity Improvement

I fully agree with the statement of Zahid Hussain. I applied the concept of 5S and linked that with performance and productivity improvement. It is slow to understand link but it works.

5S is Just a Part of Kaizen

@Taimoor: People tend to spend a lot of effort on the 5S part of Kaizen, but forget the people-oriented part of this improvement philosophy.

Kaizen 5S is More Than Housekeeping

I fully agree with Evelyn Dijkstra. I have more than 20 years of experience in the implementation of Kaizen 5S. I have raised a concept of Synergy while planning and implementing 5S.
I always focus on 7 S-es as in which Synergy is the 7th one and Safety is the 6th one.
I can prove the role of these 7S-es with practical hands-on experience. I always share it with my university students and emphasize not to forget the people-oriented part of this improvement philosophy.
