Start the Change Within Yourself
The most important thing before starting Kaizen is, start the change within yourself. You cannot educate others about Kaizen if you yourself are not well educated enough about it.

Kaizen--start the Change Within Yourself I've learned most about Kaizen by applying it in my own life--hopefully I can share what I've learned in a way that will allow people their own experience (constructivist theory).

Start the Change Within Yourself In a social and professional changing world, it's fundamental to think and to act according to a method. I'm very interested to understand how Kaizen could help me.

Emulating Good Behavior I agree with your view, Rowena. Strong leadership is paramount. Emulating good behaviour is really a good way to start. Leading with enough conviction and being passionate about ones belief and implementation is really vital.

One Small Step Can Change your Life 'One Small Step Can Change Your Life: The Kaizen Way' by Robert Maurer is a fabulous book that teaches how to apply the concept on Kaizen on a personal level. It's life-changing, if applied.

Kaizen - Start the Change Within Yourself Karen - thanks for the recommendation for Robert's book. I'm in a place right now where I need to change some habits in my life, and reconnecting with 12manage & Kaizen from my UK manufacturing days, has nudged me to re-engage these tools on a personal level).

Kaizen - Start Within Yourself - I Started! I started the changed process on July 4th, my independence day. My first change is to change my attitude towards myself and my body and start to examine and measure what I eat and measure everything, and start an exercise regimen. Will wait 30 days for the habit to become ingrained and then I'll move on to the next goal.
