Qu'est-ce que Marketing Mix ?
Le modèle de Marketing Mix (également connu comme Les 4-P) peut être utilisé par des marketeurs comme outil pour aider à définir la stratégie marketing. Les directeurs du Marketing emploient cette méthode pour essayer de générer la réponse optimale sur le marché ciblé en "mélangeant" 4 (ou 5, ou 7) variables d'une manière optimale. Il est important de comprendre que les principes du Marketing Mix sont des variables contrôlables. Le Marketing Mix peut être ajusté sur des bases fréquentes pour atteindre les besoins changeants du groupe cible et d'autres dynamiques de l'environnement Marketing.

Historiquement, la pensée était : un bon produit se vendra. De toute manière il n'y a désormais plus aucun mauvais produit sur le marché fortement compétitifs d'aujourd'hui. En plus, il y a beaucoup de lois donnant aux clients le droit de renvoyer les produits s'ils sont perçu comme mauvais. Par conséquent la question sur le produit est devenue : l'organisation crée-elle ce que ses clients potentiels veulent ? Définissez les caractéristiques de votre produit ou service qui satisfasse les besoins de vos clients. |

Combien les clients potentiels sont-ils prêt à payer ? Ici nous décidons d'une stratégie d'évaluation - ne la laissez pas, juste se produire ! Même si vous décidez de ne pas demander (assez) d'argent pour un produit ou un service, vous devez réaliser que c'est une décision consciente et fait partie de votre stratégie d'évaluation. Bien que la concurrence sur le prix soit aussi vieille que l'humanité, le consommateur est souvent encore sensible pour des remises des prix et des offres spéciales. Le prix a également un côté irrationnel : quelque chose qui est couteux doit être bon. De manière permanente la concurrence sur le prix est pour beaucoup d'entreprises pas une approche très sensible. |

Place |
Disponible au bon endroit, au bon moment, dans les bonnes quantités ? Certains des changements principaux récents dans l'activité sont survenus en changeant la Place (le lieu). Pensez à l'Internet et aux téléphones mobiles. |

Promotion |
(Comment) les groupes cibles choisis sont-ils informés ou instruits au sujet de l'organisation et de ses produits ? Ceci inclut toutes armes dans l'arsenal de vente - publicité, ventes, promotions des ventes, Marketing Direct, relations publiques, etc. Tandis que les trois autres p ont perdu beaucoup de leurs significations sur les marchés d'aujourd'hui, la promotion est devenue le se concentrer sur de P le plus important. |

La fonction de marketing mix est d'aider à développer un paquet (mix) qui satisfera non seulement aux besoins des clients sur les marchés ciblés, mais à maximiser simultanément la performance de l'organisation. Il y a eu beaucoup de tentatives d'accroître le nombre de P de 4 à 5P dans le modèle de Marketing Mix. Les plus souvent mentionnés étant les Personnes ou le Personnel. Booms et Bitner ont suggéré une approche des 7-P pour les compagnies orientées services.
