Participatory Approaches Towards Taking on Change

I think you will find in most cases larger organisations will use a programmatic approach, i.e. a top down approach towards implementing and communicating change. Here I believe issues arise as it doesn't leave room for open communicating. Rather it fosters an idea that executives are rulers and that's that.
I find that the participatory or bottom-up approach would be the better option as it allows for employees to determine the direction of change outcomes however this then brings up issues of time constraints etc.
Does anyone here favour the wbs approach?

Appropriate Change Approach Depends on Type of Organization

Due to being in favour of dialogue, a participatory approach would be the approach that I would try to implement. Furthermore, this depends mostly on the setting and type of organization that one works for. For example, a military setting would consist of more downward linear communication, whereas a change approach in a more innovative company may consist of more dialogue.

Participatory Approaches Towards Organizational Change

Organizational change is beneficial to both the employer and employees. For this to be successful, the employee has to be fully involved. That’s why for proper implementation of change, managers should work with management by objectives (MBO) because that will make it work.
