The 7 S Model is an Architectural Tool for Strategy and Management

When you analyze the components of the 7 S Model, you can understand that it is a sober meta-model. It is giant, open, flexible, elegant, diagnosing, analyzing, exploring, scrutinizing the process of ruling, constructing and decision-making in a complex organization.
The model is also coherent, true, interoperable, logic and can be used in a dynamic way.
As such it is an architectural tool for the professionals, experts and theorists in the science of management and strategy.

7 S Model and Issues Action Priority Matrix

The 7 S model is an important strategic management checklist that if used in unison increases the relative market share and potential growth of an organization. However the model should be fully utilized with an Issues Priority Matrix toolkit.

Issues with Priority Matrix

Dear Tendekai Dzinamarira, thank you very much, for your constructive contribution, enriching the 7 S Model. Your suggestion helps to explore one of its flexibility and agility dimension. That will provide a fertilized package of tools and stones to streamline your strategic trajectory, in order to develop your organization, within its ecosystems. In the benefits of the true and engaged stakeholders.

Action Priority Matrix and 7S

@Tendekai Dzinamarira: The Action Priority Matrix is similar to the Eisenhower matrix, but the focus is on impact and effort instead of importance and urgency. It also helps you decide which tasks, projects or activities you should spend your time on.
The Action Priority Matrix could indeed be a helpful tool to help you descent from and concretize the rather high, strategic level of 7S. In the perspective of this discussion we might say you can use the Action Priority Matrix to build on the architecture of 7S.

Action Prority Matrix, Via Impacts and Resources

@Jaap de Jonge: Your contribution is instructive, inspiring and guiding. We can use the term "Resources" at the place of "Efforts", as we are training professionals in management and strategy which can be considered the Queen-Mother of the social sciences, including psychology and sociology.
We can think that the sign of the combinations in the various time management matrices are practically a multiplication (*), instead of an addition (+). However, we can obtain the same result, mathematically, when we transform a multiplication operation in an addition operation, by the logarithm formula (log a * b = log a + log b).
