7S - Tracking Each Element An interesting thought, but one would need to be very sure about the reasons for wanting to develop a tracking system.
For example, would it be to measure change within an organisation or to compare different organisations, one with the other.
I have only used the 7S as a framework for analysis of an organisation, but I will be keen to see what responses you get.

Thoughts on Tracking Happy to see interest among the SIG members in this topic. The main intention is to draw a boundary (or) develop a standard framework for the entire organisation, that can constantly measure and being able to bring entire gamut of operation under each element.
I know there are many general or specific scorecards developed to know the organisation's overall health. The 7S framework can give a new dimension to think for all the HR and OD consultants. Anyone interested to partner for developing one please react...

Measuring and Comparing Scores on 7 S-es Strategy, Structure and System are hard S-es. They are easier to be used for comparing to competitors / other organizations.
