Body Language for Coaching Stefania: Body language is responsible for 55% or so of communication processes. I do some organizational constellations and do not use words. Just body language and systemic movement of groups. The results are amazing in corporations too.

Coaching & Body Language Body language is definitely an asset in soft skill teaching. I have always used it in synchronization with teaching, and it makes communication more powerful.

Using Body Exercises in Coaching Sessions What do you think about using breathing exercises, yoga asanas, bioenergetic exercises, to relax body and mind before a coaching session or to explore limits and personal resources during the session?

Body 'Wisdom' Coaching Stefania, I see your question is around asking clients to tap into their own body for wisdom and guidance from their 'gut' - the intuitive wisdom we carry.
I was recently introduced to this concept and I had some concerns if it was 'compatible' with my Christianity. Some of the exercises have come from or are used as part of various religious cultures.
I think it helps to encourage clients to choose the words and viewpoint that works best for them. They may be able to view your exercises as purely spiritual, purely physical or both. In coaching, client's permission and using their language are always good concepts, how you apply them depends if you are doing one to one or group coaching.

Body & Spiritual Coaching The idea of conscious communications or unconscious communications seemed to jump out in this discussion. I can appreciate the kernel tossed out by Ben Smith, in reference to his concerns from Christianity and perceptions related to "various religious cultures".
Might I suggest we learn more about the work of Dr. Danah Zohar and her husband Dr. Ian Marshall through their text or book titled Connecting with our Spiritual Intelligence. Dr. Zohar and I had indirect dialogue many years ago regard the mindset of Quantum Leadership, which embraces the deepest drivers of humans with special emphasis on its application to Leadership.
This topic also brings into play the presence of Emotions or Emotional Intelligence, which will also trigger bodily reactions and/or responses.
Authentic Leadership is a kaleidoscope of large number of mental, physical and spiritual active assets 24 hours a day.
We are just scratching the surface of this platform we refer to as “leadership”.
