Challenge for Leaders: Follow-up It's one thing to have leadership skills and rudiments, another thing to put your initiatives into action. In my day-to-day activities, I've found out that even when a leader dishes out instructions to be carried out, in most cases, he needs to follow-up on ensuring that the instructions are carried out. Failure to do so, the idea becomes dormant.

Challenges for Leaders Today What I found to be the most challenge of all is MANAGING PEOPLE.
It is often very difficult to let people see the need for change and when they even see the need, they may not be willing to change due to feelings of job insecurity or fear of failure. Some people you work with might be very negative in their attitude and there is nothing you could do to change their mind set. This attitude causes decrease in production and increases work related stress level which in turns impact on recruitment and retention of staff.
