How can We Put Deming's PDCA Theory in to Practice?
It is an excellent method that was introduced by Prof. Deming, but my fear is: how many of us are using it in the real work life? Are Bill Gates or Warren Buffer using these theories in their practical business environment?

Deming Method is Used in Other Models Toyota uses the Deming model PDSA or PDCA. Others adapt the concept, such as Boyd's - OODA and Kolb's Learning Cycle. They may not call it the Deming model, but it is still alive and well.

The Deming PDSA Cycle There appears to be some confusion on the name of PDSA cycle. My recent research suggests that Deming never called it the 'Deming PDSA cycle'. Rather he termed it the Shewart cycle or the PDSA cycle. I agree with you David, the Deming model is the superior model of all in existence.

Example of Using PDCA in Practice Gentlemen: I use the PDCA/PDSA continuous improvement model in public secondary level education with students age 12-14.
When explained and modeled, they "get it." the students plan their own assignments, projects, assessments, and organization of all types.
Additionally, classroom teachers can also improve on their own lesson preparation, implementation, assessment and improvement...

PDCA Forum >> can we Put This Theory in to Practice @David Wilson : I agree with D. Wilson. Indeed many methods integrated PDCA in their approach. The main idea in PDCA is the feedback. Feedback is needed to react, to govern to be responsive and to adapt to changes in real time.
