Setting the Challenge of Strategic Intent

Setting a strategic intent should be value generating. For example, you should show some value in money or quality or ease of maintenance and the like. An even bigger purpose would be human-value, non-profit or for the social-welfare. It should add value beyond the company's traditional offerings.
