Contingency Theory in 2 Countries
I am writing on how contingency theory may be applied to leaders who share one culture, but reside in two different countries. Any thoughts?

Research Variables on Cultural Contingency Leadership Torres this is interesting. Especially since there may be both common-, particular- and even estranged variables in your research focus. One of the areas you may want to research is how proximity to culture affects leadership style. This can show the influences that cultural diffusion offers to those leaders that are not residing in their country of culture as apposed to those that are. It may even show how exposure to different cultures creates more diversity of approach, and new learning curves that can be considered for Contingency Leadership styles. Additionally, it may also provide insights to establish which leader is more effective or to which leader are the followers more responsive. Mind you that the vast research areas that stem from this topic may pose problems in narrowing the scope of your research. Hence setting out a particular research part and determining research boundaries may help. There is much more, but this is just a thought.
Cheers,
Winston.
