What is a Deliverable?A Deliverable is any tangible outcome that is produced by a task, project or program. It is any tangible, measurable output. Examples are: documents, reports, plans, computer systems, a building, etc. Another word for it is product. Two kinds of deliverables can be distinguished (as per PRINCE2 terminology):
Internal deliverables are produced as a consequence of executing the project, and are usually only needed by the project team. External deliverables are those that are created for clients and stakeholders.
