Brainstorming - Dealing with Excess of Information

My latest brainstorming meetings for SWOT analysis generated more (much more) material than I expected, directed to several companies areas.
I have now a great deal of information to treat.
Is there a special method to solve this issue?
The ideas are pre-classified, but still it would take a lot of effort to treat them all.

Brainstorming - Dealing with Excessive Amount of Information

After having collected a big bunch of ideas (that is what brainstorming is about) and having classified them, I would focus on a top 5 or top 10, whatever.
Ask all the participants to rate the ideas with points e.g. 1-5 per idea. Than add all points up and you get a classification in points, weighted results so to say.
Furthermore you could classify the ideas in short term or long term actions / effects

Brainstorming in the Situation Center

BEFORE using SWOT-method in a team we usually use the analytical hierarchy process for the construction and evaluation of priorities goals, and AFTER the SWOT – cognitive modeling.
It helps us to identify and prioritize the factors, achieve a high level of understanding between members of the team. It is useful to utilize the possibility of situation center.
