Adjusted Change Equation Model

I have always adapted this model as follows, which makes it more useful and clear:
D x G x Ps x S > R, or:
Dissatisfaction x Goal x Practical next steps x Support from management > Resistance to Change.
G = Goal is clear
Ps = Practical next steps are known
S = Support from management is obtained and real; if there is no philosophical, financial and organizational support, then everyone knows it soon, and the change terrorists win.

V = G * S

Steve I agree that Vision can be broken down into Goals and Support, however, going to a higher plane vision is typically set by the management thus the support is automatically provided, until and unless in a scenario which is much influenced by the politics...
